What we collect

We typically collect business contact details you provide, such as:

• Name
• Business name, trade, and city/province
• Email address and optional phone number
• Website or Google Business Profile URL (optional)
• Notes you submit about your listing or goals

If you become a client, we may also process Google Business Profile access invitations (not your Google password), reporting data, and communications needed to deliver the service.

Why we collect it

• To respond to audit requests and sales inquiries
• To deliver Google Business Profile management and reporting
• To send service-related updates and invoices

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use contact form data for unrelated marketing lists without your consent.

Providers we use

This website is hosted on Vercel. Audit form submissions are delivered through FormSubmit to hello@getnorthmaps.com, which forwards to our Gmail inbox. We use these providers only to host the site and receive inquiries. Some processing may occur outside Canada depending on the provider's infrastructure.

Retention

Inquiry data is kept only as long as needed to respond and for reasonable business records. Client data is retained for the life of the engagement and for a limited period afterward for accounting, legal, or dispute purposes, then deleted or anonymized where practical.

Your choices

You may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete inquiry data that is no longer needed. Contact hello@getnorthmaps.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate for a small B2B service business. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please do not send passwords in email.

Cookies and analytics

The site may use essential cookies required for hosting. We do not currently run a separate marketing analytics suite on this site. If that changes, we will update this policy.

Changes

We may update this policy as our practices evolve. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do.
